Fuck it.

Somehow or other, I need to get a car.

Maybe I'm overreacting, right now I don't care. But I just CANNOT take the constant sound of gum-cracking that I can never escape on the light rail and buses, no matter how loudly I play the ipod.

I don't get it. Is Baltimore a city of world-champion gum-crackers or something? Will 3/4 of the women in the city die if they don't crack gum constantly?

I've never been ANYWHERE that I just couldn't get away from it.

I swear, tonight, I almost screamed at this woman on the train. I move to the other end of the train, and I still can't get away from it.

Okay, that's it. I'm getting this LASIK thing figured out, and my next order of business following that is to get my drivers license and figure out a car. That's all there is to it, or I'm just gonna start taking out gum-crackers.

I swear, it's just about enough to make me want to move to another city.

Wow... I hear you b/c it always annoyed me how my mom would smack her gum when she chews. However I haven't come across gum cracking like ever. :(

i grew up with two of my babysitters being obsessive gumcrackers...it used to drive me nuts, as well.
