Arright folks, never mind all the other, logical, rational, legitimate political reasons for which I find Sarah Palin absolutely stomach-turning, even if it weren't for all that, I could never in good consciousness vote for her.

She has given birth to children and pinned them with such awful names as Track and Trig.

WTF, does she harbor a secret desperate yearning to go back and teach high school or something? (Not that Piper, Bristol or Willow are such great names either. But Track and Trig. Geez.)

I don't believe for half a second that the Trig is Bristol's kid, precisely because he has Down Syndrome. The chances of giving birth to a child with Down Syndrome is something like 1 to 1,667 for mothers Bristol's age and something like 1 to 15 for mothers Sarah Palin's age.

So chances are, it's not Bristol's.

especially since some of the "evidence" she wasn't pregnant is that she was seen drinking lattes in her seventh month - maybe not the best choice for a mother to make, but I've seen worse.

Most lattes that I've run into are mostly milk...espresso would be far worse I would think. I want to say that I remember someone I knew who really loved coffee being told by her doctor that is she really had to have coffee during her pregnancy, a latte was the best choice because of it's high milk:coffee ratio. I could be smoking crack on that one though.

But yeah, it's a pretty dirty thing to try and pin this one on her daughter, I am glad to hear that Obama has called that one off limits. The poor kid is probably going to get smeared from here back to Juneau.

However, you do kinda have to admire the irony of everything.

Additionally, wouldn't it be kinda difficult for her to be pregnant now after giving birth to a child...what, five months ago? Not completely impossible I'm sure but ridiculously unlikely.

I also heard the rumors about the latest child being Palin's grandson rather than son, but they decided to come out and say that Bristol is currently pregnant and apparently was when Trig or whatever his name is was born.

Yes, those names are torture to children, and I don't understand any of them. Also, I'm resenting the whole using of the Down's Syndrome child as a political anti-abortion message: I knew I was having a disabled kid and decided to go through with the pregnancy anyway because abortion is wrong. Do you suppose they'll tell the child that when he's older?

Urg, yeah...I hope not. Geez. Not even a year old and already he's a political controversy.
