Hello, Copy Editor?

I was just bopping around the at&t wireless website since I found out that my company has a corporate program and that employees are eligible for discounts on certain plans and phones (alas, I do not qualify).

I was just checking the new phones out of sheer electronic curiosity when I saw this little bit:

"Introducing our triple threat - the BlackJack TM II by Samsung. It's sleeker, smarter, and more simpler to use than ever."

Yes, folks, the BlackJack TM II is more simpler to use than ever.

That's not even a typo. Someone purposely typed that combination of words into a computer.

OMG, as a copy editor myself, I can feel my blood pressure rising. You'd be amazed at what some of our other publications let through the editing stage. As much stupidity as there is in the world, it still continues to amaze me.
