badstarI didn't want to say anything until I was sure, but I've loaded things several times and they seem to be working consistently but...*sigh* it looks like all this headache was caused by an improperly seated ethernet cable. And every time I've ever seen an improperly seated cable in the past, it resulted in- guess what? No internet connection at all!!!!!!
That annoys me. However, it appears to be fixed, so....feh. Whatever. Back to surfing as usual.
