...no, I'm not looking to *change* addresses, but to pick up another one.

To that end...does anyone know of an email service (Something other than gmail, preferably something a little less well-known) that includes the following features:

1. Allows you to send/receive email from a different address- this one is especially preferable

2. Threads messages like gmail does (groups together messages by subject, so that when you open the message, you see the entire thread instead of having to pick through a ton of emails that just show up in the order that they are received)

Gigantic storage capacity is not required.

ETA: actually...seems like I don't require this at the moment after all. Gmail was blocked at work, but there is a way to access it that is okay because it does not allow the stuff that was causing problems.

What about yahoo? That's competing w/ gmail pretty much..but I don't get why they blocked gmail...gmail isn't as spam friendly as yahoo or hotmail...it's like Geez..what next..only allow connecting to corporate webmail? *kicks them*

Actually...I have since found out that it's not completely blocked, only blocked from the main gmail page because that's how you can get in and do video chatting which is absolute no-no.

I can still get there from the igoogle page.

I'm not a fan of Yahoo...I dropped my yahoo email about four years ago.
