GOD COMPLEX’s Apollo has hung up his superhero cape and now lives in hiding from his fellow gods as a mortal named Paul. Yet the Pantheon are so eager to get him back in their ranks they’ll do whatever it takes to win him back, even if it against his will. For Paul, life as a mortal has just gotten complex.
The cover image has got to be one of the single ugliest pieces of so-called art I've ever seen, nevermind what I assume to be a depiction of Apollo.
This just sounds stupid, but I'm masochistic enough that I'll probably go looking for a copy so I can read it and cry.

Date: 2009-10-11 02:51 pm (UTC)But bad artwork and ridiculously cheesy stories? Makes me cry. For the love of Bob, at least make them look good and write decent stories.
Don't even get me started on Disney's Hercules...
(Oh, and there has been at least some making of biblical stories into cartoons and movies...Prince of Egypt, for example- which I actually kinda wanted to see when it was first made.)
