badstarOkay folks, I have a bit of a problem.
I can't close one of my living room windows. It's stuck open, all the way. This causes two major concerns: one, cold air. It's pretty nice out right now, but it's supposed to drop down to like 45 tonight. Two: the cats. We have window screens, but they're the expandable/collapsible kind that you just pop in and out of the window when you open or shut it, and the window is stuck open a good four inches higher than the height of the screens.
These are those old sort of windows that are on chains. I *think* a chain is stuck or something, but I can't see anyhting wrong.
Got a call in to the landlord, but knowing our luck he's off on a business trip in the great white north.
If anyone knows what might be done, please let me know. Gavin isn't feeling well, so we're hanging out mostly in the bedroom at the moment, so I'm going to put my phone number in a locked post. If you're on my friends list and know what to do, give me a call. Otherwise, leave a comment and I'll just check email periodically.
