It figures...

badstarOK...So I really hate the fact that I can't touch type. And I was in the middle of typing an IM to someone. And then I'm interrupted by an IM from someone else. And of course, it sends my typing into THAT window...and I'm not paying attention to the screen. SO as a result, i end up telling probably the last person that I would want to know such a thing that I'm sitting here without a shirt or bra on. (Lightening my hair...don't want to ruin any clothes)
So I wandered downtown today looking for the hair dye so I could dye my hair turquoise. Thing is, i needed blue and green to mix them together (I know...don't mix dyes, chemical reactions, blah blah blah....well, this is a semipermanent color, deposit only...no worries there. I've done it before with the same brand of stuff when I had a partial bottle of 2 different shades of pink)
They didn't have green. I could SWEAR they made an emerald green color, but employees in 2 stores informed me that I am delusional. The only green that I could find was a rather sickly looking stuff that was supposed to wash out in 8-10 washes. The stuff that I was buying usually lasts about 2 months. I wasn't going to mix across brands. And that shade of green....I dunno whatit would have turned out aswith blue.
Soooo I got bright pink and blue. I'm going to dye it pink (Again) with blue streaks.
And then I wandered over to Grandma's Candles and played wth crystals and stones for like 2 hours with one of the employees, Tea (Tay-uh...I don't remember how to type a blasted accent-aigu) I had mucho fun...and I found orange garnets, which I've wanted for like, ever. So I aquired a couple of those. Yay for that. Now if I could only find my little tiny bead bottle with the tiny crystals to put them in so I can stop worrying about losing them...
Time to rinse the hair, let it dry and then use the colorful stuff...
