Nov. 27th, 2002 11:08 pmMom wants me to make cranberry-orange bread tonight....maybe I should do that since Samantha's sleeping (I'm babysitting til Chelle gets home....sometime around 1, probably) And tomorrow should be all kinds of fun....I get to house-hop....here, Dad's, Grandma Jane's....Friday I have a job interview for one of those spun-glass places. Yay spun glass. Yay job. Hope for me.
This won't make sense to most people, and it sounds kinda pyromaniacal (it's not, seriously.), but I'm feeling very fire-deficient. Odd feeling....kinda off. Very difficult to explain if you don't know what i'm talking about. I realized this somewehere in the middle of writing a very long, eyestrain-inducing response to Jon's letter yesterday. I was thinking about lighting a fire in ths stove and sitting downstairs for a while, but 1. the house is very hot right now....Mom had the oven on all day. And 2. we have no kindling, and I don't know what in Mike's workshop can be used as kindling. Unfortunately, unless dowsed in something flamable, logs don't just light on fire if you hold a match to them. Maybe I should just gatehr all my candles and light them while I'm making the bread....can't hurt....might help.
Cinnamon and caps lock are not a good flavor combination. If anyone sees a chocolate shoo-fly pie recepie calling for cinnamon, and decides to try it, please do yourself a favor and omit the cinnamon. Otherwise, chocolate shoo-fly pie is a good thing. However, traditional, regular, original shoo-fly pie is not. Hello...molasses pie? Eww. Oh the joys of living in Central PA.
OK...yes you read correctly, and no it's NOT supposed to say "caps lock"....supposed to say "chocolate" though I imagine that cinnamon and caps lock don't go very well either.
I'm gonna go entertain myself....
