Coworker on the phone... "You know, that twisted metal wire thing that you use to clip papers together?"

*boggles*

Okay....I know that some people aren't technical. At. All. I'm getting used to some people not being able to comprehend "Press the power button".

But how HOW HOW can anyone in the last what...hundred years NOT know what a paperclip is?

Edit: I ran a search...Paperclips as we know them were invented in 1899...a little history right....about....HERE

Have you ever had such a weird day that you brain fart on a basic word? I had to ask Zac wtf that fluffy thing we sleep on in bed was called. Turns out I couldn't remember the damn word for pillow...LOL! And I know someone who brain farted on vacuum, she refered to it as "Zoom zoom, suck up the dirt!".

It does happen!

If it wasn't this case, then they are truely a technological IDIOT.
