Officially starts at 7, but PLEASE let me know if you're planning to show up before 8 or 830ish...I won't be here til around 9ish, and one of the roommates is holding an ecclectic-pagan-type ritual for the fall equinox at 730 (bearing the attitude of the more the merrier, as long as she has advance notice) If you want to know what this ritual entails...well, I dunno. Feel free to bring fire toys, but I am asking that lighting up NOT take place til I show up. The roommates have no experience with fire spinning, and while I trust many of you with flammables...I am instilling this rule and will not look very kindly upon transgressions. On this point, I ask that you not test my temper. (Mea will be enforcing the rule until I get here. And also notes that people are also not to test her temper either. You REALLY don't want to deal with the force of the two of us.)
Feel free to bring munchies or beverage to share (Especially if you want any particular variety of alcoholish stuff). We'll have some sod and drink here.
You are welcome to crash. We have 3 floors and enough space to house a small army, but you must provide your own sleeping surface...sleeping bag, inflatable mattress, pile of blankets whatever if you don't like the idea of sleeping on a wooden floor (if you want to, more power to you.).
2 cats present. Be accordingly medicated.
Smoking is outside only, dispose of cigarette butts in the provided receptacles. No substances that cannot be legally purchased in a grocrey store or liquor store. KEYS WILL BE TAKEN IF NEEDED.
It is my understanding that Mea and others will be journeying to the MD Ren Fest for Pirate Weekend on Sunday. I myself will not be going, but if you want to crash overnight and go Sunday, you're welcome to do so.
I live in Baltimore, close enough to throw snowballs at the train station. That is, if there were snow. Which there isn't.
If you need directions, have any questions, whatever, feel free to leave a comment here. I will post my cell phone number and the address in a locked entry, so sign in already.
This all may seem like a Full Metric Fuckton of rules, but really it's common sense, and aside from Fuego's Fire Rule, no real different from most parties I've attended.
