So I get an email today...I was a member of Netflix during a specified time frame, and because of that I'm eligible to benefit from a class-action lawsuit that Netflix failed to provide their advertised unlimited DVD rentals with one day delivery and I'm eligible to recieve a free month of upgraded service. My first thought was "Woohoo! Free upgraded service!" but then I thought about my experience with Netflix and whether I really should take part.
I've used Netflix for over a year now, and I must say that I've been quite impressed with the service. I can remember only one occasion that I did not receive my movies overnight- BUT I live fairly close to one of their shipping facilities. AND I recieved the movies the next day. Also, I do remember reading on their website where it says something to the effect of "many customers will receive their movies the next day" It does NOT say EVERYONE will receive their movies the next day. I have also never had a problem with the number of movies I've been able to rent in a month. At one point, for reasons still unknown to me, I received a $21 credit from Netflix.
I am entitled to benefit from this, but should i take advantage?
I have never had a problem with Netflix's service. I have nothing but good to say about it.
I do not believe that this applies to me, I do not believe that I can legitimately claim benefit from it even though I am supposedly entitled.
I think I will just trash the email.
