Dec. 3rd, 2004 10:28 pmMy birthday was uneventful. I worked. Thanks for all the birthday greetings. Annnnnd today I didn't almost get hit by a car and put in a coma til march or april like last year day after my birthday.
But work kinda sucked today. Ok it sucked a lot. There are certain people in that office whose heads I'd like to hang as trophies above my mantle..but I don't have a mantle so that will have to be postponed.
I've decided that I definitely prefer Doug's team to Amber's. A couple of days ago, he comes over to me with a piece of paper (I knew what it was...I was late again...blasted MTA) He didn't have to say anyhitng, I just said soemthign like "I know how it goes, you wave a piece of aper in my general direction, I pretend to acknowledge it, we both go back to our desks." He just nodded and said that his business was over. A few minutes later I gave him the finger. I forget what for. Hehe. Work is amusing sometimes. Plus, I don't feel like I'm interrupting somethign massive every time I ask Doug a question (OK it wasn't like that EVERY time I talked to Amber, but there were very definite times.
I no longer have the 17" display. It got carted off to Wes's a little while ago. I have reclaimed unreasonable amounts of real estate in my living room. Not that I have been doing anythign in my living room. At all.
And the power blinked at work today. Twice. Fairly rapidly. And then Apropos crashed. Several times. It should do that with considerably more frequency and duration.
