USB Sushi!

I have far too much to do tonight.
I have to make a run down to the Harbor...though, that errand will only take me 10-15 minutes.
I have to do laundry
I have to pack to go to PA
I was going to make brownies last night for work. I didn't do that. Jon IMed me to discuss post-Christmas plans and it all went downhill from there.
I plan to make the brownies tonight.
I need to redye the fuschia part of my hair.

Okay...lessee. I can put the dye in my hair, then throw my laundry in the washer. Mix up the brownies, toss 'em in the oven. Take a shower to rinse out my hair (In the bathroom right next to the kitchen for maximum efficency). By then the clothes should be done, put them in the dryer, and get the brownies ut of the oven.

Multitasking. Yeah.

I need coffee now.
Oh, how convenient I have some right here.

Would you mind listening to what I have to say before interrupting me fifty times with "I already did that"??? If you had given me the space of 5 more words, you'd have seen that I was going to tell you to do something that you did NOT do. Oh yeah, and I fixed the issue now didn't I?

Who's brilliant idea was it to give me a break at 1145?
Screw it, it's break time now.

Ooops...

And a delayed Happy Solstice/Merry Yule, should the sentiment apply to you ;-) (If it doesn't, hope you had a smurfy Wednesday the 21st)

In response to an email from Jon to me and several other friends about post-Christmas plans, I wrote...

> Are there any particular wine suggestions, or for that matter beverages in general?

Dom Perrignon.

>Also, does anyone else have any strong feelings about dishes?

I only dine on dishes of Limoges porcelain and take my beverage from
Waterford crystal.

I am a snarky brat. Fear me. (Or roll your eyes and say "whatever". Either way.)

Inside the First Amendment - To Save Christmas, Separate Christ From Commerce

This is an excellent article, well worth reading and considering the writer's ideas. I can see how they wouldn't be very popular, but he's got some very good points. There's no registration to read.

Health Dept. Warns About Herbal Medicine From India

If you live in NYC and take herbal medications, you might want to take a look-see. No registration again.

(Note: This is NOT an "India is evil" xenophobia thing. This is about specific substances that have been found to contain dangerously high levels of lead or mercury.)

If I hear the phrase "I apologize abou' dat problem" or "Pretty much" (It pretty much says your shipment has been delivered" "To get power to the ipod , you pretty much have to plug it in." "Pretty much I can set that up for you" "The phone number is pretty much 555-1212")

I may just hurl.

Seriously. I count two instances of "I do apologize abou' dat problem" and no fewer than 8 of "Pretty much" in about 6 minutes.
