(no subject)

I have a job interview today at a shop called Kokopelli in Towson.

I finally got the news that I completely killed the TABE test (as in, could not have scored any higher than I did on reading OR math) but Baltimore city has no funding right now, I'm supposed to call back at the end of the week, AND I can try to go through the county as well. I'm gonna try that.

I should have my own computer running within the next few days. Woohoo.

I'm hungry.

Cullen is coming by Friday to check out the house and see what needs to be done to fix things before the lease is renewed at the end of the month.

I'm mildly stressed out about a few things that don't involve job searching, trying to get money for school...heck they don't involve money at all.

I can't think of anything else interesting to write and I have to go change clothes and get up to Towson.

Trader Joe's Coffees?

Who buys coffee from Trader Joe's?

If you do, what are your thoughts on them? In particular, the Volcano, the Double Dark and the Italian roast.

I tried asking the sample guy there, but he was pretty enthusiastic on a couple of others- the Bolivian, the Pinon and one other that I can't think of offhand and wouldn't comment much on the others. I ended up getting a can of the five country blend. They had a pot of it there, it was good...darkish, decently strong, very smooth flavor. The thing is, I like darker coffee, but I don't like smoky flavor (for example, Starbucks Sumatra...I'll drink it, but...meh, I don't like my coffee to taste like I'm inhaling a campfire with it.)



The interview lasted all of three minutes and she said she'd call me (In the past, just about any retail job I've had has come after an extremely short interview or none at all while longer interviews tend to have resulted in no job. So i'm choosing to take this as a good sign.)
