Someone posted on a list I'm on today, about their personal morality. Here's the post, I find it quite dubious... )

Dance class last night was good. The teacher was pretty cool. I don't remember her name, but the lady meant business. Her warmup was pretty vigorous, and except for a few rather odd things, I had no probems with that. The other stuff, like relevés and this weird kick thing, I am determined to be able to do. Okay, so relevés aren't weird. But the kick was. I figured out how to do it fairly smoothly today, but last night at the time, I couldn't get it without being all clumsy. She had us doing arm/hip combinations almost right off the bat, and travelling by the end of class.

I will definitely be going back, and am still planning to do the Afro-Modern fusion class on Thursday. (By the way, for anyone interested in checking it out, you can take the first dance class there for free to see how you like it.) I was expecting to be all kinds of sore this morning, but I wasn't, though I was slightly as the day wore on, not much at all.

My main complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a maximum capacity, it was pretty darned crowded. I was one of the tallest women in the class and kept kicking the arms of the women next to me during warmups. Thankfully, everyone had a decent sense of humor about it, but after that started, I did sorta turn diagonally to try to avoid that. That...and the chick that was in front of me that was wearing a crotchless leotard (or what seriously looked like it) with pale-colored tights. Ummmmm....yeeeah. Don't need to have that right in front of me.

After the class, I came home and watched Heroes and 24.

Note to self, bring a bottle of water next week, the nearesst water fountain is 2 floors down.

I took my first shot ever at making a meatloaf tonight.

I can honestly say it was one of the best meatloafs I have ever tasted.

Just got off the phone with telling Mumsie about the meatloaf. So she asks me what the recipe was. And well, I didn't write anything down, and I just kinda tossed it all in there. So I'm like "Um....a package of ground beef, an egg, um...crumbled a big old dried basil leaf, crumbled a couple of oregano leaves, and a leaf and a half of tarragon, shook the bread crumb container a few times, squirted the ketchup a few times, shook some other stuff, a couple of chopped garlic cloves, choppsed up a couple of stalks of celery and a couple of carrots, threw in the remnants of a jar of pesto...somethign like that."

For some reason, my mom found this to be entertaining.
