You have a very diverse arrangement of people on your friends list, apparently.

I was really impressed with your post, and the way you handled the ensuing comments. For what it's worth, I have an increased respect for you after reading your views and seeing how you dealt with others who seemed intent on "converting" your message.

yeah, i know a...um...variety of people. It happens when you've lived in a couple of different states, are involved in organiizations like Alpha Phi Omega and ADF and go to events like Playa Del Fuego. And a bit of local color tossed in just for grins.

I might not agree with someone, but i can generaly discuss things intelligently. If someone's coming to my journal to comment, i expect them to respond to a post in no lower a level of intelligence and decency than that in which i wrote the post.

There are certain topics that I do have a hard time discussiong rationally if I don't agree with what's being said. The primary example is deadbeat dads. (deadbeat moms so bther me greatly, but not on the same level as deadbeat dads thanks to having one) Now, I'll generaly only get hysterical abut the topic if i'm already in a funk about my family, And i'll warn people before getting into discussion, some people proceed with caution, some rip right in anyway, others drop the topic.
