(no subject)

So you know how I posted on Saturday that I was going to work on my Dedicant's Program, and do laundry and exchange some sandals and stuff?

Never happened.

Shortly after posting, I grabbed a shower. Just out of the shower, Mea informs me she had turned off the video game...she just came in, didn't know I was home. Oh well, it's just a video game. Then she asks me if I'm getting cat food (Honestly, I had forgotten.) I asked if she would give me a ride to the grocery store to grab it...it's much easier than carting a couple of bags of cat food on public transportation)...she said she would but not just then...which was fine, cause I was just out of the shower, hair dripping wet and all that. Shortly after that she informs me that she's gonna grab a shwer and then we'd go...and she wants to go to Home Depot and some other places too. I let her know that I had other things I wanted to do that day so I didn't want to be gone forever. She says ok and next thing I know, I'm standing in the middle of Wal-Mart looking at lawn furniture. Then Mea decides that she's got a sudden wanting to buy a grill, and after soe deliberation and indescision does just that. Next thing you know, she's calling people to try to get people to come over for an impromptu cookout. Then I'm calling people. So much for getting stuff done. Then we have to go and pick up food. We get home and suddenly, I'm assigned the task of grill assembly. dcnblus shows up with four kinds of bell peppers and it becomes my job to chop veggies. And Bridget gets home with all sorts of other food. And we have dinner. And Mea decides that afterwards we're going to play boardgames. Specifically Life. And it's going to be a drinking game. I wasn't drinking...I really wanted to light up the firestaff. After some badgering about that, they decided that it was ok for me to drink coffee instead. (I never did light up. But we also didn't have any alcohol that I was particularly interested in drinking) and shortly after getting started, morlockx showed up.

Let me just say...Life as a drinking game is FAR more amusing than as your standard old board game. Especially if you're not drinking. Especially if you've been chugging a lot of coffee. About halfway through, Mea decided that she needed to go to bed. Shortly after that, provoked by Bridget's attempts to throw off my counting, I started laughing. Not just laughing but...well, If you've ever seen me lose it, fall off my chair, barely breathing, squeaking laugh, you know what I mean. It took a while for me to recover.

Sunday I got up and went to the Grove. It was a nice, relaxing day. We decided that ritual planning would take place this coming Sunday for Beltaine.

Since Sunday, it's been a mix of work and stuff. I have the correct pot for my coffee pot again. I keep forgetting to contact the manufacture of the WalMart Wonder. I finally did laundry last night. Looks like I'm not going to be working tomorrow so I'll hopefully be exchanging the sandals and doing some DP work. Going to Suzy's spinjam tomorrow night. Possibly hanging out with liritsvoice ahead of time. APO sectionals on Saturday. The Grove, the usual stuff and then some- a meeting for people trying to plan a Pagan Pride Day, and then Pagan Night Out on Sunday.

Wow...I should make sure to cram some sleep in somewhere

Sounds like a crazy week.

I haven't gotten crap done on my DP either. Soooooo far behind!
