Apr. 9th, 2006 11:15 pmI am....tired.
So Friday night Becca came over. After much attempt on Meas part to convince us otherwise, we went to Suzy and Rob's, spun fire til it started to storm and then we went inside, ate some yummy cake and watched a movie. Boondock Saints. Eeeeeeenteresting movie.
Came home far too late Friday night, slept far too little and after I found my misplaced keys, Becca droped me off up in Towson for 85/86 sectionals. The last time I was at a conference where I knew practically no one was....erm...section 97- Spring 2000. Last time I was at a conference was 88/89 Spring 2004. I need to start getting to these things again.
Come fall semester, I may find myself with the position of Chapter Rep for Kappa Mu (Hopkins). We shall see. They were a crazy bunch. Tried to get me to come to some projects this and next weekend. Were it not for the insanity the rest of this weekend, and Ecumenicon next weekend I would have. When I got home last night, I just bummed around the house.
This morning, I did the usual Sunday thing, went to the Grove. Beltaine planning. I get to write an invocation to Belenus. And we did some planning for gate opening. Which as a little more...active than usual. That will be cool. I had some good suggestions that were implimented. Go me and stuff.
Immediately following that, there was a meeting for those of us working on Baltimore Pagan Pride day (It's looking like we will very likely have an event this year, even if it's just a potluck picnic but we're looking for more than that if we can swing it)
And then we had Baltimore Pagan Night Out at Kiss Cafe. Deirdre, Pete, Kelly, Jesse and probably at least one person took it upon themselves to start writing out Midsummer Ritual. Be afraid, be very afraid. Last year we did the Chocolate Ritual..this year...it seems we're doing the Cheese Ritual. With Fondue and Port as the waters of life. Omen to be read with....I kid you not...string cheese. Apparently, I get to write an invocation to Diana as the gatekeeper. (It was Artemis, but I, confused that they were speaking of Artemis and Pluto asked why and was informed that we were going to use a Roman pantheon. To which I had to correct the Artemis/Diana switch.)
Where do I find these people?
I think I'm going to bed. It's been..a day.
Oh, and I finaly got my sandals exchanged. Becca dubbed the bronze pair my superhero sandals. Hehehe.
Sleepy.
Oh...and I got PDF tickets (
dcnblus that means one for you too.
jackgreen60, if you want to go, we can probably scrape one up somewhere when people start posting that they won't be making it and have an extra)

Date: 2006-04-10 08:09 pm (UTC)I am having an extremely difficult time with the "technology". Did the things written down on the paper to no avail. When I booted, I called the Caring Number and they said I didn't have the Caring package. So I think perhaps...I'm screwed. It is probably a hardware problem because the SMART fails, and I don't seem to have a hard drive. That alone is pretty problematic, I think. Then again, I'm not a professional. I am going to get a big check back from Uncle Sam, unless I made a major mistake in my calculations, in which case, I may just get a new puter. And in the meantime, I'll use the Gates' model.
