badstarSo I was going to write somethig here and then I made a couple of phone calls and it completely slipped my mind.
Oh well, I need to go to the grocery store. I was going to go like an hour ago.
Oh! I remember what I was going to write.
Back at the tech support job, we had this sales incentive...if we sold service agreements or merchandise- systems, accessories, cables, you know...stuff, we got "points" put into this account with this incentive company. Every three months the points were put there for us to use to get stuff. It appeared to have been linked to a limited segment of Amazon (no used books and stuff, could only get stuff from certain categories). But...anyway, I've been checking for a while for the last of our points and was starting to wonder if we'd get them or not.
Apparently we did because I checked last night and I had fifty points. With that, I got the Da Vinci Enigma Tarot (nothing to do with the Da Vinci Code)..I've been wanting to get that since I first saw it, the artwork is beautiful...I also got The Firebrand by Marion Zimmer Bradley (I've been wanting to read it for a while), and then I only had five points left, and there's nothing that I could find that I really wanted for five points, so I got a book of Danish fairy tales for kids. I'll give that to the Grove's library.'
NOW off to the grocery store.
