So is it just me, or does LJ ALWAYS stick in anyone else's cache whenever you view it?

Every computer and browser I use, PC's or Macs, IE, Safari or Firefox, I always have to reload my friends page at least once- sometimes more- to view entires that appear since the last time I loaded the page. It's been goig on for months, and it really kinda irks me.

that's the point of cache, to load a page that you already have, if you just hit F5 you're not calling for the latest page, you're calling for the latest page you already have. If the page wasn't finish then it may go to the server, but double F5 tells the browser to go to the server and get the latest page.

Reload = Refresh

F5 = Refresh

Double F5 = Server Refresh

Control+F5 = Server Refresh

I've gotten into the habit of doing a shift-reload on my friends page to get around that. I think it has to do with the expire time that LJ's webservers set on the pages that they serve.
