Housekeeping Miscellany

badstarLast night I inteded to go to bed and suddenly found some inspiration to clean up a bit more in my room. I'm making some progress in getting it the way I want it to be so that I can move the table that I recently inherited from ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
liritsvoice in there (It's currently wedged in between our dining room table and the stairs) as well as the entertainment center thing that used to hold the TV before Steph and Jesse moved in (Cause it's just kinda taking up room on the second floor now).
On New Years Day, I had gone up to White March with Becca for the purposes of venturing around Ikea. I bought a couple of those hanging mesh cylindrical organizer things (The three-compartment smaller ones were only 75 cents) and they're currently hanging from the arms of the towel rack in my bathroom. I've decided that one of these compartments is a logical place to store my socks (Yeah, I know, who stashes their socks in their bathroom?) Speaking of which, I should buy more socks.
I want a new laundry basket. The one I have is smaller than I'd like.
I also want to get new sheets and pillowcases and stuff this year. Oh, and pillows. For definite. I have pillows that were old when I was 14. I love them for some reason, old, flat, half-empty feather pillows, plus a couple that I get when I went to college. And my pillowcases? Got 'em when I went to college too. Plaid, flannel, faded from living on my bed in the sun for the last year and a half. I might move my bed to that it's in between my windows. Yes, I think I will do that.
Bookshelves...I need some of those. Anyone got any bookshelves that they want to be rid of? I'm sick of doing the college ghetto thing and storing my books in milk crates.
Baker's rack. I want a baker's rack. The cool kind like my mom had (actually, still has, but it's in storage, speaking of which, someday i need to get my stuff from PA....I suspect at this point i'll be getting rid of a lot of it. I know I have a bajillion old papers and stuff. I still have some clothng and books and other thigns up there...), with the wood shelves, made of patina-ed metal with vines and ivy leaves and such. Yeah, that.
