1. Has anyone here gone to Baltimore City Community College? What can you tell me about it that I won't find on the website or in the propaganda that al colleges send out? Do you know anything about their web design certificate program?

2. Need a recommendation for an eye doctor. Preferably either in Baltimore City or Hunt Valley, but I'm willing to go elsewhere (within reasonable distance) if they're really good. I have the Carefirst HMO plan (I forget the actual name of it offhand and don't have paperwork handy to check) I'm looking at someone who actually does a decent job of fitting for contact lenses (Not sure if i'm getting them yet or not though.) I would strongly prefer someone who uses the puff of air test instead of pupil dilation (If you've ever had this done, you know what I mean.) And definitely not one that uses the eye-pokey thing unless they're willing to do it without numbing drops (again...if you've ever had this done, you'd know what I mean. It's not particuarly pleasant, but I'd seriously prefer to just have them poke my eye without hanving to deal with my eyeballs being completely numbed...I've had this once before and it was really unpleasant. *shudder*)

There's something about going to the optometrist and getting a poke in the eye that's just wrong.

I sorta hate going to the eye doctor for that reason. What I more hate is that you have to wait for your eyes to re-adjust after the fact.

Like I mentioned before, there's Pearl Vision Care in the Hunt Valley Town Centre on the right hand side facing Greetings and Readings...it's in the vision package the company offers if you have the BC/BS PPO. I'm not sure about the HMO.

I have the HMO and the davis vision thing. I didn't forget about this one, and am keeping it in mind. I was going to give them a call on my lunch and see if they take the plan I have.

nifty icon by the way...it looks vaguely familiar...is it a book cover?
