Oh, yeah. Why the hell does LJ keep telling me that my password is too easy to guess? I fricken finally gave in an changed it to soemthign with numbers and letters. It must be ok because it accepted it when I changed it.

Well, what was it? Something that's a dictionary word, common slang, or very common phrase (like shutup) really IS easy to guess. Easy for a computer to guess, at least.

I'm not going to put it here. It's still my password for other things.

It was a word that would not be found in the dictionary as typed. not english in origin. it would not be found in a dictionary of its original language as typed either.

my current password is also a word that would not be found in the dictionary as typed, not english in origin, and has numbers added to it.

The thing is, when I changed my password, lj laid down the rules for a new password and what made it acceptable. my new one conforms to that or i suspect that it would not have been accepted.
