Mar. 21st, 2007 12:55 pmI don't know what to do here. I'm stressed out as all hell and on top of everything else, I'm expected to learn my new job, which includes a fairly intricate CRM interface, without having my own computer in the training room. (The program isn't really hard to use at all...it makes more sense than some that I've used. It just takes a bit of getting used to because it has a different layout. If I'm in front of it, doing the stuff I'm supposed to do I can figure it out very quickly, but when I have to wait my turn and watch someone else struggle through it who isn't picking it up as quickly, it just confuses me. And I don't have the option to look away til it's my turn, if you don't have your own computer (there are six of us in that situation), you have to look over someone's shoulder, or be told about it fifty times.)
The trainer has no say, he's from the client. My new supervisor to be is in the class, so I tried talking to him. It's not up to him, it's up to the IT guy who is not the most pleasant person out there. Oh, and where on earth would they put the computers anyway?

Date: 2007-03-21 11:51 pm (UTC)We have a gigantic ass for an IT director though. If I could get any help from his assistant I would, but he has no say in the matter and neither does my supervisor or the trainer from the client.
