I just talked to Chelle.

After insisting that I not buy a dress (lest I should pick something that not match the kitchen wall paint, I'm sure) she now wants me to pay for half of the cost of the dress making and materials.

(I know it's a common thing for bridesmaids to pay for their dress. I've done it before. But this is not reasonable. I told her I probably couldn't- which is true, and that I would have to let her know closer to the wedding.)

Damn, and I already dyed my hair. The only thing keeping me from bleaching it out and making it pink again is the damage factor.

That's it...I'm getting blue extensions for this thing. Or purple. Or green. Maybe even rainbow. I dunno, but it's not gonna be "normal"

Tell her to go pick out a dress at a David's Bridal (they have those down where you are too, right? they're everywhere) and she can pay for it. They can send it to one closer to you and have it fitted.


The dress that she had made is already just about finished, i just need to try it for alterations. I tried to talk her into getting a dress from David's months ago, but she refused. And actually, my past experience tells me that it's a bit late to go there anyway. Last time I tried to go to one, it took them at least 6 weeks to order the dress (cause you know, I'm not a stock size 12 or below, or whatever) and I still barely got it a week before the wedding.

But, I tried. I said I'd pay for it and all. Oh well. If things go wrong, it's not my problem at this point.
