So I've got this single ball of recycled silk that's mostly reds, oranges and burgundies. I'm going to make a headband out of it...I've decided to give a shot at making it of Tunisian double crochet and hope and pray that I have enough yarn to do so 'cause Tunisian crochet eats yarn like there's no tomorrow...

What is Tunisian double crochet? How is that different than regular double crochet?

Tunisian crochet is different from regular crochet- each row is worked in two parts- literally, you go across the row pulling up loops and then back across the row working them off. It looks really cool in the end but it takes up a LOT of yarn.
