badstarSo my brother (Mike) almost died yesterday, so says an email I just got from my mom.
Story is he recently went on Adderall for ADHD, he went into anaphylactic shock, and his heart almost exploded. Additionally, he reacted as if on a overdose and was hallucinating. Apparently he's doing a lot better today.
My brothers are so ridiculously medically unfortunate. It wasn't that long ago that Anthony was bitten by a hobo spider and ended up with a massive infection and having to have tissue removed from his stomach. (To my various friends out in the pacific northwest, I'm assuming that you know about hobo spiders, but apparently, they cause a lot of damage in a very short time if they bite you, and there's a particularly nasty infestation right now? Anthony's in Portland, so that's where we're hearing that from.)
