So...I loathe the Valentine's day thing, really. It's just another evil conspiracy of the greeting card industry. Fer real.

but I have to admit, Google's logo for the day really is cute.

I hate flowers that kill people. I hate jewels that kill people. I hate paper you can't burn without killing people....but I love hearts and pink and red and glitter....

But most of all no one, no store, no marketing scheme is going to fucking tell me when and where to be romantic if at all and that is final.

The general principal of V-day I actually admire...but I hate the fact that everything - and I mean everything seems to cost 4 times the normal amount that day...even if you are smart and buy 2 weeks early.. You should do stuff like on V-day all the time - as I do currently for my girlfriend...usually I try to get her roses every month and a half...sometimes 2 months...well we've only been dating 4 months now and I've got her roses now 3 times so I'm ahead for the next month YAY (*just kidding by the way*). I said to my girlfriend last night I used to buy gifts for myself each year on V-day because I felt like crap otherwise and she was like "Why?"...because everyone else was being given flowers and chocolates and poetry and crap. She said that was stupid...then it was revealed..no wonder she wasn't seeing people making out in front of her...she was working usually and then goes home and passes out...well, I don't know why she wasn't seeing it since she works for JCPenney and people around here make out like it's illegal to part lips it seems...I'd love to live in her area...I'd have felt better about not having a girlfriend around Valentines day my whole life LOL
