My soul has been ripped mercilessly from me through a small pore in my skin just above my right eyebrow.

I'm seriously contemplating taking lunch so I can nap for an hour. (I mostly stopped taking lunch weeks ago when I found out that most of the other night people don't and it occurred to me that it's a nearly effortless way to get 6 hours of overtime on every paycheck. Apparently the powers that be don't mind.)

Hmm...I don't know what it is in Maryland.

But our 15-minute breaks are paid.

it is ze same law but we do get paid. Whether you take a lunch or not your employer is required to deduct 30 mins when you work six hours. If they don't they will get in ze trouble if they get ze caught. Either way enjoy the OT I'm sure you need it.
