My soul has been ripped mercilessly from me through a small pore in my skin just above my right eyebrow.

I'm seriously contemplating taking lunch so I can nap for an hour. (I mostly stopped taking lunch weeks ago when I found out that most of the other night people don't and it occurred to me that it's a nearly effortless way to get 6 hours of overtime on every paycheck. Apparently the powers that be don't mind.)

I could have gone on to describe my lifeless, tortured soul lying helpless in a heap on the floor next to me, ripped out and stomped on by the soul-sucking emails of death and despair....
