I just ordered a new cell phone, I'm really sick of the one I have not working properly, not holding onto a battery charge, not being able to control some of the features on it (like the clock- it's set by the service itself. if I lose signal, I lose clock. And when daylight savings time switches, I have to wait for them to switch it. It sucks so mightily, it could teach Hoover a thing or two.
Oh yeah and I'm switching back to AT&T. They told me I should be able to port over my current number once I have the phone so that shouldn't change (I had a bit of a runaround finding that out.) but if that doesn't work out, I'll let people know what my new number is when I get it.
For anyone who cares, I got a Sony Ericsson Z130a (hot pink :-P ). It had the best battery life that I could get on a phone under $50 (seven hours) without going to a Motorola phone (There was one claiming 11 hours talk/29 days standby. I would love that but I'm somewhat prejudiced against the lower end Motorola phones after the nightmare time I had with them last year when I was doing testing on them at work. Their menus were a nightmare. Nothing seemed to work. Took forever to get them to do anything. Don't know about the higher end phones like the RAZR or any of those. From what I've seen the menus look different...but I also don't want to spend over a hundred dollars on a phone.)
Oh yeah, and it's a camera phone.
