Every single one of my coworkers does this when giving business hours for my tech support department. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. "Our hours are eight a.m. to eight p.m. eastern standard time."
Hell-lo, business hours do not change when daylight savings time kicks in.
And hey, no one ever says "Our hours are eight a.m. to eight p.m. eastern daylight time" when daylight savings time is in effect. So....why????????
Just knock it the fuck off and say "eight a.m. to eight p.m. eastern time" already."
