...sitting at at my desk at work with my feet up beside my keyboard, chair tipped back, talking on my cell phone to my girlfriend about the pork chops I made for dinner tonight, and the lasagna her mother made for dinner on Sunday night. Missed the clock actually turning midnight.

Perhaps not the most exciting new year ever, but it may very well be the best.

Happy New Year!

Reminds me of my first New Year's Eve with leorathesane. We were watching the Worst Movie Ever MadeTM, and her roommate said, "Oh. It's 12:04. Uh, happy New Year." It was our second date, which we weren't sure was a date, so we had an awkward "Do I kiss her or not?" moment. Then she started sneezing. And that was that moment killed.
