badstarHas anyone on my friends list read Dhalgren by Samuel R Delaney? What did you think of it?
I've just come across this book by accident, and based on what I've read, I want to get a copy of it like, yesterday.
(Edit: just looking over the wikipedia entry on this book (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhalgren), there's a whole section on Green/Roman mythological parallels and references and a fair few mentions of Apollo...this of course makes this look even more like something I want to read....)
Yet another edit...it's available from Barnes and Noble, just reserved a copy to pick up at the Barnes and Noble at the Harbor.
