Same old same old...five questions. If you want me to ask you five questions, post a comment.
These questions from

1. What is your favorite thing about
chironcentaur?
I love her sweet, smiling optimism and her faith in humanity and the way she just lights up the room when she....sets it on fire.
Hahahaha, but seriously. other than the fact that she's willing to put up with me, which is pretty commendable, and that we can entertain ourseoves literally for hours just by talking about the worst movies we've ever seen, and that she loves my cooking and is okay with my bizarre work schedule and a billion other things, I think that one huge thing that I really love and couldn't do without in a reltationship is that while we aren't quite identical as far as religious things go, we have a lot of similarities, and that she understands what's going on when the going gets weird.
2. What is your favorite way to thank Apollo?
continued devotion
3. When and how did you come to an understanding that you were a really woo sort of person, and how did you deal with that transition?
I don't know. I think I've always been somewhat predisposed to it, I just had to find it. I can't point to a time and say that this was the transition or anyhting like that. As faras this goes, I think the major transition was well into things when my reltionship to Apollo took a turn for the ohmygodohmygoohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod what the hell is this??????? As to how I dealt with it...well, other than being a bit baffled, and scared at times, I pretty much just took it in. I didn't understand it- still don't, I don't think, not consciously anyway- but it makes sense to me on a level that I just can't verbalize, it is "right*
I think at one point, I wanted to but thought that I wasn't, because I thought that whatever it took, whatever was required to be a "really woo sort of person" as you put it...lol...whatever I was, it just wasn't enough, and then I started connecting to certain things- not deities initially- and I had some rather incredible experiences
4. Do you ever get angry with the sorts of things Apollo puts you through, even if you consider them to be completely worth it?
No. I've never been angry. Confused, frustrated, scared. Never angry.
5. What is something that gives you hope for the future of humanity?
Um....I might have to get back to you on that one. Humanity overall, I can't really think of anyhitng offhand. But I am thankful every time I come across a reasonably intelligent person.

Date: 2009-01-23 09:04 pm (UTC)1. How important is religion to you? Do you have any relationships to any of the Hellenic deities?
2. Please, please please don't take this one the wrong way, I've just been extremely curious...you've mentioned in one of your memes that you love skiing...how are you able to do that without sight? (The question of how things work for blind people is sort of interesting to me...my sight is beyond ridiculously bad, but can be corrected with glasses or contact. I would have been legally blind years ago if not for that, and there is a small chance, based on my family history that I may go blind someday.)
3. If there were no Greece, is there another country and culture for which you might hold a similar level of interest?
4. Where did your extreme interest (dare I say obsession? lol...) in Greece originate?
5. If you were given an all-expenses paid trip anywhere in the western hemisphrere, where would you go?

Date: 2009-01-23 09:12 pm (UTC)1. I've known you mostly from various pagan LJ communities, but don't recall ever seeing you talk about your own religious beliefs. Do you follow any particular religion or practices?
2. If you could only listen to the music of tend bands for the rest of your life- but could have access to every single track they've ever recorded, not just the standard studio cd's, which bands would you pick?
3. If you could make one change in the world that would not directly affect you in any way, what would you change?
4. If the internet were to cease existence tomorrow, what activities would fill up your newfound free time?
5. If you had to have been born already having the knowledge of one event in your life that's already happened, but with no ability to change anything about it, what would you want to know?
(The last three are reycled questions that I've asked before, but I like them...lol)
