Tim Burton does Alice in Wonderland. Arg, it's not out til next March.

Apparently in this upcoming version, Alice is 19 years old and not quite fitting into Victorian society, she runs away form a party and finds herself following the white rabbit back down the rabbit hole...

Johnny Depp is the Mad Hatter. I've gotta see this. The trailer's on IMDB and looks like it could be really good.

It's a Disney production, but that's okay. The original Alice in Wonderland Disney movie from back in the 50's is one of the few Disney movies that I actually like, and I loved the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so it definitely looks like it has potential.

As a certified AiW freak for the majority of my 36 years, I am really excited about this movie. However, with that being said, there are two potential results. Either it will be spot on or Burton will go too far over the top and it will be terrible. Honestly, with Burton there is really nothing in between. :)

Funny enough you mention Charlie. That was actually the only Depp/Burton movie I did not like. :(

Seems like, generally speaking anyway, the people that liked the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory really hated Burton's remake, and those of us who didn't care for the original (Renee and I both being in that camp) liked the remake a lot. Perhaps he'll do something similar here.

The whole movie looks amazing, and the Cheshire Cat kinda looks terrifying. :)
