And regarding the comment one previous, I like the snerky idea that "God"-the-masculine implies the neuter class, yet "Goddess" is very specific. Elitist, if you will. Sort of like the classic Greek "theos" versus "Zdeos." It implies a special level, which cannot be mistake for any other in context.
