I Don't Like This

I've only been here 2 weeks. I had an argument with the roommate already. I don't like this. The entire time I lived at Fred's I had all of one argument*. That was with James....several months after I moved in. It lasted about 30 seconds and never happened again. I don't avoid confrontation, I just never get into arguments with people that I'm not related to. It just freakin' doesn't happen. Ok, so it does happen, but extremely rarely.


A good thing is that I've finally set up my bookshelves and gotten them almost full of books.


*That doesn't include the times I almost killed Fred for well...for being Fred, or the times that I had to pound on Vergil's door at 3am because he was screaming and yelling at video games and I had to be out of the house at 630 in the morning...

Ahh, bookshelves. I need to stain mine, so I can get my books out of "storage" (aka: laundry baskets).

basically what it comes down to is he seems to have an attitude of "this is my place and you can deal with my rules" i had to deal with far too much of that with my stepfather, and i didn't have much choice because well, i wasn't paying for anyhitng. i will NOT put up with that kind of thign in a roommate situation where i'm paying half of it all. if saturday night was a one-time thing, so be it. it's over. if it happens again, he's going to hear it.

hon, if you're paying for half, you get half the say in the rules. its all about compromise. however, since you do pay half the rent, these rules only apply in the common areas of the house. what you do in your bedroom is really none of his buisness.
