Jun. 18th, 2007 08:55 pmSo in the last maybe two months or so, I've developed a certain fascination for several Titans, and some deities that have little or practically no mythology to speak of....Eos, Hyperion, Asteria, Nyx, Helios my interest in Selene seems to have come back of late, after having waned to nearly nothing for quite some time now...er, no pun intended...
and Khaos, the Mousai Apollonides, Brizo (Who doesn't even have her own link on http://www.theoi.com only a one-line text listing and a mention on Asteria's page.)
I was also thinking today about the abundance of free time that I have 3 nights a week, and how much of it I've spent thus far idly surfing Teh Intarwebz, and thigns that I want to do and what I can do to actually make some decent use of my time.
Some things I plan to try and do:
1. spend at least half an hour each night working on a segment of Essential Italian Grammar...because how long have I been saying that I want to try to retain what I know of the Italian language? I didn't start studying it for nothing. I might think of also spending some time reading Italian websites to improve my reading ability.
2. Spending some time each night researching the mythology of the deities which most interest me that I haven't previously studied...and maybe even eventually branching out and studying other pantheons...hehe
3. Reading more books. (I threw Brian Greene's Fabric Of The Cosmos in my backpack before I left.)
4. Now that I'm just about finished the Dedicant's Program, it'll be about time to start working on the GSP...lots of reading and writing to go with that. One thing I'm thinking of is once I start that to try and work on at least one essay each night (Not necessarily finish each the same night I start it, I know that some are that easy, many are not, but to at least put some work in each night.
5. Do some other non-study-program writing that I've been wanting to do for a while now
6. Make more lists like this. (Just kidding...I think.)
