SO I had this tension headache on and off for the last few days. It just wouldn't go away completely. Went to a doctor yesterday. She checked my eyes out and stuff, then checked my shoulders and arms....and agreed quite readily that it was a tension headache and that I need to relax. Told me to take today off work as well and make sure that the headache really has a chance to go away...and to seriously consider visiting a massage therapist.

(Yes, I know, if you're one of the couple of people that I said "I don't feel like going back to work tomorrow" or other such nonsense to...I had a Stoopid moment and forgot about that until I looked at the note that I was given to take into work.)

Anyone else get tension headaches? I hate these thigngs. I used to get them so often that I got really good at consciously relaxing the muscles in my shoulders within a few seconds. Then I didn't get them for a long time, and I lost the practice. I can't do it anymore

I was surprised to be told that I should be consistant about caffeine intake. Don't not have any for days and then suddenly drink 5 cups of coffee, and vice versa. Though...for me personally, I have done the yoyo caffiene thing...and I have never noticed a connection to headaches. (I know a LOT of people do. So I try to pay attention myself, but I honestly don't feel any different either way.)

And on a completely unrelated note...I found somethign that's 6 squillion times better than ramen noodles (OK, so most things are at least 3 squliion times better than ramen, but I digress...) So I was traversing the grocery store the other day when I hapened to notice some litle packages of noodle sop, kinda similar to ramen...but they were different. A company called thai kitchen (I think) makes these rice noode soups that you make pretty much in the same way as ramen. I decided to try. Bought one package. I just now ate the stuff. So here's my opinion...YUMMY! I tried the Thai ginger flavor. I also compared the labels. No saturated fat (as opposed to 4 grams on the ramen.) And somethign like 250 milligrams less sodium. (Sodium is not a big concern for me though..I've actualy been advised in the past to consume more sodium. And I don't add salt to ANYTHING unless it's called for in a recepie)

So anyway...it comes with 2 flavor packets...a powdered seasoning, much like ramen...and an oil flavoring. You mix them in some water, plop the noodes in along with it. Zap the entire business for 3 minutes and voila! And it doesn't have the ridiculously salty taste that ramen does either.

The one drawback...it costs almost a dollar for a single package, and I didn't compare the sze, but I estimate to be only half to 2/3 the size of a ramen package. Buuuut....I'm still going to say far superior stuff. WAY better tasting, less of the bad stuff.

Oh yeah...anyone seen my ipod charger?

That's the iPod shuffle. I have a regular 15 gig ipod. And it does not say "do not eat 15 gig ipod charger" so....

Yeah, those Thai Kitchen things rock.
I've been eating them for a while, but I try to stay away from "Just add water and zap it" food in general.
But when you don't have time to cook, they're mighty tasty!

I'm not much into Food You Zap either. Actually, it can be cooked on a stove too. but we don't exactly have the luxury of a kitchen at work. (Yes, i know i'm not at work right now.) So it's good for work and minimal time stuff.
