Once Again Folks...
Sep. 20th, 2006 01:13 pmIf a job required a car, and travel....you really should put that in your ad. It's a bit of a crucial detail. I wouldn't have wasted my time or yours if it had been there.
Also, when I suggest putting it in the ad, it's not really nice to cut me off and say "Yeah, yeah we'll think about it. Bye" *click*
Yet another job that I don't want anyway.

Cat Distracter Needed
Sep. 20th, 2006 01:39 pmWho wants to come over and pay attention to Ferarri for me while I try to look for a job? You should know that you would leave covered in white fur.
She adores anyone who will give her attention. Right now she's sitting on the table behind me and repeatedly trying to maneuver herself over to the back of my chair and then onto my shoulder.

Head, Meet Brick Wall.
Sep. 20th, 2006 01:57 pmSo I just dropped about a dozen more resumes within the last couple of hours.
Got a response to one...well, just now. They were all ready to set up an interview and THEN they mention that having a car is required for the job (though the position involves sitting at a desk all day with no potential travel and the company will not consider a candidate without a car. )
WHY do so many places leave out crucial details?
This one was a lot nicer when I suggested mentioning that in their ad though.

Mysteries Of The Universe
Sep. 20th, 2006 03:31 pmDoes anyone know why some people collect soda can tabs instead of just recycling the whole thing?
And the Yoplait yogurt thing where if you send back the pink yogurt container tops, they donace a certain amount of money to breast cancer research....what's up with the sending back the pink tops part? And why only specially marked pink ones? Sure it's a promotional thing...but if I send back a refular red top...sory, no money gets donated for that one.
But hey...unless you're sending back more than you're spending for the stamp to send them, I think you really might as well just donate the money directly.
I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.
