Oh yeah...

so that semi-napping dream that I posted about before?

The other thing that I forgot to mention was that at some point before I woke up, I started to mouth words- first actual words, sentences- I don't remember what I was saying. I started mouthing the words, then they come out in a whisper, and finally in a more normal speaking tone of voice. Then stopped for a few mintues and I began to mouth the word "speak" over and over again, then to whisper and then to say the word out loud over and over again. From this point it continued until I was actually fully awake, and even for a few mintues as I lay there, repeating the word "speak", but without thinking about it at all. I know I wasn't thinking about moving my jaw and tongue and making sound, it just came out. I was thinking about talking in my sleep (I don't often talk in my sleep that I know of, though I've been known to scream in my sleep) and trying to decide if part of my brain was still asleep even though, as far as I could tell, I was fully conscious.

It's been too long. I had plans for the night of the Lampteria ritual, but I just never did...I need the fire staff, some free space, a couple of bottles of lamp oil, a whole lotta water, and a night to just spin til I can't anymore. I need to hear the rushing flames and feel the contrast of heat and cold air on bare arms, and smell the burning oil, and feel my arms and shoulders hurting for a week....I need to exhaust myself. I need the clarity of that which immediately surrounds me and the fuzzy vague awareness of anything out of arm's immediate reach.

Oh, damn I just need the fire like I need air to breathe...

Hmmm...I guess the easiest way to arrange this is probably going to be to request to use the grove space and convince at least one other person to be there with me for safety. otherwise...who knows when I can do that next.

What I really need is to be surrounded by lots of other people spinning around a bonfire...but I'm going to Wellspring, so I won't be at PDF in May, that will have to wait til the fall- and I am absolutely determined to get there this fall.

Playing around with the work camera...just decided to try and grab a snap or two of me with the newly-punched hole.

The first picture, for some odd reason I just really like though it makes me look about 14...

And in the other two, you can actually see the piercing as a little bright spot.

Oh yeah...and those are the not-so-new-at-this-point glasses. Bad lighting and image quality so they look black, but they're purple. I generally look horrid having my picture taken with glasses, but these really aren't bad.

This was on Craigslist. Too good not to share:

I am looking for me someone to love as much as I love Jesus, but obviously in a different way.

Since Jesus has been in my life I have found nothing to be impossible. I can do everything and anything. Except for the NYTimes crossword puzzle (Jesus can only help me so much).

I am looking for a woman ready to bear somewhere between 5-10 children. I will always work, always paint the house, water the lawn, and even cook sometimes. I just ask that you dust because I am allergic.

I am 5'6 with brown hair, slight build, no tatoos. I have had sex before but it was with a woman who said awful things that made me cry. I do not like to make love again unless its for children. Oh the things she said and the way she took the lords name improper. Just bad dirty!!

I would like you to be yourself as God made you and Jesus supervised. You can wear hats if you choose. I don't mind a stutter if you have one. Don't be a blinker though. I don't like when people blink too much or squeeze their eyes. I feel like they don't want to SEE JESUS. Sorry I got excited.

I would like to know when you found Jesus and where you found him.

I would like to know your favorite non-confrontational television broadcast and what snack you eat while watching it.

Please email me and I can take you out for a meatball parmigiana, my favorite (you can eat whatever you want but I'll be eating that).

Bless you.

I just can't say enough how much I love and adore gmail. Truly. And I just found another reason. As if the message threading alone wasn't worth it.

I didn't realize that I could add another email address to the gmail account itself to send/reply from.

My cedarlight grove email address forwards into my lafiamma gmail account.....and now I have it set up that gmail replies to my cedaright grove email from that same address.

So in the last couple of weeks, this guy has called at least three times a week, always within 5-10 minutes after 8pm. He always seems to be surprised to find we're closed and asks for our business hours. I give him the hours each time, making sure to specify that the times are eastern time- On several occasions, I've said "that means 6am-6pm mountain time, sir." (obviously, he's in the mountime time zone.)

I got hime again tonight, opened his service request and asked if he had something to write with so I could give him the number...

Fuego: Okay, I have your new service request number here...do you have something to write with?

Guy on Phone: Uh...my hand? *pause* Oh, you mean a pen? Hold on a minute."

And there was much head-desking and face-palming...
