and was perusing it out of morbid curiosity when I ran across this, er, gem....

Do you feel that one gender is, by nature, superior to the other? Explain your answer.
Women are superior by virtue of biology. We are the first form, males are mutated and stunted women. Their reproductive organs have 'fallen' out of their bodies to dangle and the hemispheres of their brains do not have sufficient connections to allow for balanced, reasoned and emotional thought.

I'm embarrassed to be a woman when I read things like this.

Yeah, because misandry is sooooo much better than misogyny. (Heh...Firefox's spellchecker doesn't recognize "misandry" as a word...)

I'm reasonably sure it's meant seriously. She's slightly more extreme than the other posts that I read over, but very much in line with the community's purpose and all that (The community guidelines do nothing to establish a stance that indicates that while they may be all "I am woman, hear me roar", it doesn't mean that they think women are superior to men blah blah blah like many such communities do. And while no one has responded in favor to the post, no one has responded negatively either. And that post has been there for quite some time. If it were actually a troll, my guess is that there would be comments to the effect, or that it would have been erased. This is only speculation...but I have only encountered one livejournal user that is considered a troll by many folks who will make posts that people never respond to, yet they never get taken down. (unfortunately that individual frequents a number of communities that I do....) eh, who knows?)
