Jumping on the bandwagon...
Sep. 24th, 2009 05:27 amLike many others in the last week or so, I just scaled back on my various list subscriptions, though in my case, unlike a lot of other folks it seems, it was mostly lists that I never even read. At least now, I won't have to worry about cleaning them out of my inbox. I set one list to special notices only- I don't read the list, but the topic is still of interest, so I want to be able to check on their archives and stuff, and be able to post if I want/need to. I kept one Apollo list because once in a while, it sees a bit of conversation, and a couple others, though I don't think I'm done cutting email lists just yet, there are two more in line for a very likely trip to the chopping block.
I don't plan to remove myself from any message boards (I'm a member of several) some of them, I actually get something out of and those that I don't...well, they're empty entertainment. (Hey, some people read trash novels, I read silly pagan forums.) Yeah, empty entertainment is a time waster, but I allow myself a little indulgence, and have been spending a good bit less time on them lately as it is.
Slowly nudging my religious life back to where it needs to be, made some devotional jewelry in the last few days (posted to my blog)...will post more about the equinox later.

Date: 2009-09-24 05:54 pm (UTC)I've been thinking, since I'm now more bored at work during slow times without so many lists and forums to read, that I ought to explore the wide world of forums on *other* topics, topics that are not so emotional for me, that won't likely get annoying. Like perhaps some fairytale boards. I can't believe I never thought of this before.
