Does windows media player have a set place for storing media files, or does it just play them from whereever you put them? (That's how it's loking but I guess I'd like confirmation from someone who knows better....or correction if that's the case)

(I'm so used to iTunes and it's default place to store stuff unless you manually go in and change it.)

there are various options for copying and moving. and then there's my favorite....consolidation, where it just moves everyhting into your music folder for you.
